There is still a historic artisanal bakery in the city where traditional Venetian biscuits are made according to ancient recipes, just as tradition dictates. Since 1840, the Emilio Colussi bakery has been baking biscuits, all strictly handmade with carefully selected ingredients from the finest Italian producers.
Pan del Doge, Pan del Pescatore, Buranelli, Zaletti with raisins, with chocolate, and with pistachio are all biscuits that our pastry chefs prepare daily for our shops, also available in delightful gift boxes.
Not only were famous biscuits like the Venetian Baicolo born in the Colussi workshops, but you will also find many other traditional sweets such as Focaccia Veneziana, baked nearly all year round, and the renowned frittelle di Carnevale, made even in November for the religious celebration of Madonna della Salute.
Open Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Friday and Saturday: non-stop from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM
