La Perla Nera is a store in Venice where Paola Bertoldo’s creativity and design are combined with the beauty of the authentic Murano glass and precious metals, such as crystal, silver and gold, rooted in the ancient art of the “impiraresse de fin” (creator of pearl jewellery).
The results are unique, handmade creations crafted with the highest quality and care. The “La Perla Nera” universe mainly consists of necklaces and earrings but also some wearable “jewel garments” and small design accessories. Paola Bertoldo is part of the Association of Glass Craftsmen and carries on the technique acquired by her mother with the hope of being able to pass it on to future generations.
