Monica Daniele produces tabards based on the memories of Casanova, who was the ambassador of the tabard to the courts of half of Europe. Her models faithfully reflect the shape and spirit of the historical garment (full wheel, sleeveless, single closure at the neck, absolute simplicity) and are all handmade with fine fabrics.
Monica Daniele’s tabards can have different lengths and colors because of their adherence to historical tradition. However, the classic model is a cape with or without a hood, made of dark cloth or scarlet for winter and made of white silk for summer. The tabard is an important garment in Venice, back in vogue in recent years, worn not only during the carnival, as it was in ancient times, but also everyday.
