The Grande Darsena of the Venice Arsenale hosts “The Call of Olympia.”

An original show of the Venice Carnival, inspired by the epic history of the Olympic Games to tell a journey of challenge, dreams, and self-determination.
At the heart of the story is a fisherman, a simple man who dreams of immortality from the waters of Venice, like the gods. Five trials to achieve it: five challenges across continents, elements, and senses… Guiding him through play, victories, and defeats is the voice of Olympia, a muse who becomes challenge, inner strength, and determination.

An epic, intense tale with magical nuances, weaving the fabric of the game and enchanting the audience with visual arts, spectacular performances, and special effects.

A Total Theatre on the water, where challenge is told as a quest, and victory as universal peace.

From Friday 6 to Sunday 8 February and from Thursday 12 to Tuesday 17 February 2026
