Just a few steps from some of the world’s most iconic sights, Splendid Venice is a charming luxury hotel, as elegant and refined as Venice itself. Its earliest traces date back to the 16th century, the golden age of the Serenissima, when the inn was known as the “Locanda Cappello Nero”, located between Calle della Regina and the corner of Rio dei Baretteri.
Over time, changes in ownership and several extensions transformed it into what it is today: two buildings joined together in a harmonious ensemble. A place where memory, passion and beauty come together to create an unforgettable experience.
The spirit of the old inn lives on. It can be felt in the warm and attentive welcome reserved for guests, as well as in the intimate atmosphere of the public areas, such as the lobby, which favours a succession of small lounges with Levantine touches over the classic open-plan layout.
