Sunset Yogurt literally refers to that magical moment in which the incandescent glass takes on the color of the sunset and the texture of yogurt. This is Cosima Montavoci’s vision. To create her works, in addition to glass, she uses stainless steel, waxed cotton and resin. Cosima has been able to look beyond every “sunset yogurt” by learning from every material, experimenting with new techniques and with her eclectic glass creations, she has been able to explore the combination of craftsmanship and art with strong references to the human body. Her collections ‘Meaty’, ‘Thingness’ and ‘Bones and skulls’ are iconic; not just rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets but also hairpins, headbands, brooches or men’s cufflinks. The atelier is almost an exhibition to visit: a tribute to our body, its beauty and complexity, full of style and strong emotions.
